Former Atlanta Falcons receiver Roddy White spoke out against comments made by FS1’s Colin Cowherd describing Matt Ryan as the NFC version of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton.

"I got beef with @ColinCowherd (you) said on national tv with a straight face @M_Ryan02 and Andy Dalton is the same player (you) need to apologize."

Ryan and White played together for the Falcons from 2008-2015.

Through two games with the Bengals, both losses, Dalton has a 47.2 passer rating after throwing for 394 yards and four interceptions.

In the Falcons season opener against the Bears, Ryan got the win and threw for 321 yards and a touchdown while recording a passer rating of 116.1.

Before his comments about Ryan being the NFC’s Dalton, Cowherd said on FS1’s “Speak for Yourself” on Thursday that the League’s reigning MVP was similar to a respectable, two-bedroom apartment, not a penthouse.

"When you close your eyes, and I just see Brady, and I see guys like Peyton Manning, (Brett) Favre, Aaron (Rodgers), I can see the highlights. I close my eyes on Matt Ryan, I see nothing,” Cowherd said.
