The NFL has fined and suspended San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster for two games without pay for violating the league’s conduct and substances of abuse polices.

Foster’s suspension and fine stem from a weapons offense and misdemeanor drug offense.

According to NFL.com reporter Herbie Teope, Foster pleaded no contest to the weapon charge. His drug charge was dismissed after the 49ers linebacker completed a diversion program.

Foster will miss the first two games of the 2018 regular season, missing games against the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions.
