Report: Stan Van Gundy, Pistons part ways

New York Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy have parted ways, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Monday.
Wojnarowski reported Van Gundy met with Pistons officials Monday to learn of the decision. Wojnarowski also reported former NBA player Brent Barry has emerged as a candidate for the Pistons’ front office role.
In four seasons, Van Gundy Pistons led the Pistons to a 152-176 record.
Van Gundy met with Pistons officials within the hour and now team moves onto a search for a new President of Basketball Operations and coach. Those jobs will be separated now.
