Relive Brandon Phillips’ 2,000th career hit
The Atlanta Braves haven’t had much success against the Philadelphia Phillies this season, but Brandon Phillips made Wednesday’s matchup one to remember.
In the first inning of the opening game in a doubleheader at Philadelphia, Phillips recorded his 2,000th hit, which scored Ender Inciarte and gave the Braves a 1-0 lead.
The Braves went on to win the first game, 9-1, and sweep the doubleheader.
