Former Georgia Tech quarterback Justin Thomas signed a deal to play wide receiver with the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday, according to a report by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Thomas was signed a deal to play wide receiver with the New Orleans Saints in May after performing well in a rookie mini-camp, but released on July 29.

The former quarterback had a workout with the New York Jets on Tuesday to try out as a receiver, returner and potentially a cornerback, according to Thomas' representation.
