The Silverbacks will play Reading United AC on May 11 in the first round of the U.S. Open Cup, according to the bracket released on Wednesday by the United States Soccer Association.
The winner will face Chattanooga on on May 18 in Tennessee.
After folding as an NASL team, the Silverbacks re-launched as an NPSL team.
While in the NASL, the Silverbacks scored a few upsets in the Open Cup, including knocking off MLS side Real Salt Lake 2-1 and Colorado 2-1 in 2014.
