One of the biggest clubs in soccer could play in Atlanta this summer.

Manchester United is reportedly in talks to play exhibition games in Atlanta, Ohio and New Jersey, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Manchester United features players such as England’s Wayne Rooney, Netherlands’ Robin van Persie and Daley Blind, Argentina’s Angel di Maria and Spain’s David de Gea.

The club has won 20 league titles, the most in England, 11 FA Cups and numerous international tournaments.

The story didn’t say who was representing Atlanta, or who the possible opponents could be.

A message has been left at the offices of Arthur Blank, who owns Atlanta’s MLS team and who likely would be leading efforts to bring an exhibition soccer game to the Georgia Dome.
