The Dream re-signed forward DeLisha Milton-Jones on Thursday.

Milton-Jones, 40, is a 16-year WNBA vet and just one of five players in league history with more than 5,000 points and 2,500 rebounds in her career. She has career averages of career averages of 11.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals per game.

She joined the Dream last year and played in two games before suffering an injury to her right Achilles that forced her to miss the rest of the season. She averaged 5.6 points and 2.3 rebounds. Milton-Jones is a native of Riceboro and needs to play in just 15 games to tie Tina Thompson’s record of 496 WNBA appearances.

Contract terms weren’t disclosed.
