New England Patriots offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn tore his Achilles Thursday and will miss the remainder of the 2018 season, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported Friday.
Wynn suffered his season-ending injury, which was initially called an ankle injury, during Thursday's 37-20 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Wynn was carted off the field after sustaining the injury after taking a few snaps at right tackle, according to the NFL.com.
After three seasons at Georgia, Wynn was drafted by the Patriots with the 23rd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
