The Border Classic all-star football game between Ohio and Michigan has ended after just two games. The contest was created after Pennsylvania dropped Ohio from the Big 33 Game in 2012. Michigan swept both Classics, winning 24-7 at Findlay in 2014 and 24-7 in 2015 at Wayne State in Detroit. Former Coldwater standout Brody Hoying (Eastern Michigan) was the Ohio MVP last year.

Michigan High School Football Coaches Association rep and Clawson (Mich.) head coach Jim Sparks confirmed the end of the series, but no details of why.
