ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Wednesday that wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. has been noticeably absent from New York Giants OTAs because he wants a new deal.

Schefter tweeted the news early Wednesday morning, but Beckham’s camp has not commented on the report.

At a Giants Town Hall event for fans on Tuesday night, Giants owner John Mara was asked about a long-term contract for Beckham.

"Obviously we want him to be a Giant for the rest of his career," Mara said, according to Art Stapleton of The Record.

Although Beckham hasn’t been working out with his team at OTAs, he has been working out.

Beckham reportedly worked out with former Cleveland Browns' quarterback Johnny Manziel in late-May and Uninterrupted posted a video of Beckham catching balls while sitting on the ground on Tuesday.
