NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Bill Elliott’s Ball Ground home has sold after nearly a year on the market.

The six-bedroom, six-bath house was listed for $1.795 million in July 2016. It sold this year for $1.5 million.

The home, surrounded by wooded areas, sits on a 4.62-acre lot along the Etowah River.

The 13,101 square feet home includes a media room, sauna, wine cellar, exercise room and three-car garage.

In 2014, 'Awesome Bill from Dawsonville' sold almost 150 acres near Cumming to a developer who turned it into 300 upscale homes.
