Maya Moore, the former Collins Hill High standout, has the top selling WNBA jersey despite being in her rookie season with the Minnesota Lynx.

Entering the league just three months ago, as the No. 1 overall pick in April, Moore surpassed Candace Parker based on sales from October 2010 through June 2011. Parker, who slipped to second, had held the top spot since October 2008.

Moore had a decorated collegiate career at Connecticut and left as the school’s all-time leading scorer. She was part of two national championship teams and a three-time national college player of the year.

Moore will play in the WNBA All-Star game Saturday. She is averaging 14.2 points a game in her first season as a professional.
