The Miami Hurricanes unveiled special edition, alternate uniforms for the 2018 season opener on Monday.

The uniforms feature pieces made from upcycled marine plastic waste. Adidas teamed up with Parley –– an organization that raises awareness of the threats to oceans –– to create the uniforms.

The uniforms also include specialty cleats.

The Hurricanes open the 2018 season against LSU on Sunday, Sept. 2, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
