Masters Thursday: windy weather, but no rain
Spectators at the Masters can put away their umbrellas and raincoats for Thursday’s events, but should be prepared for above average winds.
Forecasts in Augusta call for a clear day with cool temperatures.
A wind advisory is in effect for Thursday from 5:10 a.m.-midnight with the potentially for wind gusts up to 40 mph.
Thursday’s advisory comes after some Wednesday events were canceled at Augusta National Golf Club due to rain and thunderstorms. The Masters announced on Thursday morning that Wednesday’s storms caused no damage to the course.
