Cartier Martin’s 10-day contract expires Tuesday and the Hawks are “likely” to re-sign him to a second deal.

The announcement of the second 10-day contract would come Tuesday. The Hawks leave Monday afternoon for a two-game road trip at the Bulls Tuesday and Raptors Wednesday before the All-Star break.

The small forward appeared in 25 games for the Hawks to start the season. He was released in January prior to his contract being guaranteed. After playing out two 10-day contracts with the Bulls, the Hawks brought Martin back Feb. 1. He appeared in two games for the Hawks since re-signing with a combined 13 points and three rebounds in games against the Pacers and Grizzlies.
