Hurricanes and former Bulldogs head coach Mark Richt was asked if winning at Miami meant more to him than winning at Georgia, and, according to Matt Porter of the Palm Beach Post, he said it did.
“It means a lot more to me than I thought it was going to,” Richt said.
Undefeated Miami routed No. 3 Notre Dame Saturday 41-8. The Hurricanes jumped to No. 2 in the Associated Press college football poll. Georgia fell to No. 7 after losing to Auburn.
