Lawrenceville’s Zimmerman will start for U.S. Soccer

Lawrenceville’s Walker Zimmerman will start for the the U.S. men’s national team in its exhibition game against Jamaica on Friday in Chattanooga. The lineup was revealed Friday evening by U.S. Soccer on twitter.
It will be Zimmerman’s first appearance for the senior team.
U.S. manager Bruce Arena said on Thursday that Zimmerman was going to play, but didn’t specify if he was going to start or come on as a sub.
Zimmerman is a centerhalf for FC Dallas. The 23-year-old has made 67 appearances, including 53 starts for Dallas.
Atlanta United forward Romario Williams is scheduled to start for Jamaica, while fullback Greg Garza is on the bench for the U.S. He started last week’s 0-0 draw with Serbia in San Diego.
