Julio Jones part of NBC’s Sunday Night Football opening

According to NBC, Atlanta Falcons' wide receiver Julio Jones will join Carrie Underwood in NBC's Sunday Night Football show opening. Jones is the first Falcon to be a part of the show's open shoot, which is entering its 12th season.

Jones will be accompanied by Dak Prescott, Khalil Mack, Von Miller, Antonio Brown and former Alabama teammate Dont’a Hightower.

A sneak preview of SNF’s opening will air during the San Francisco 49er’s and Vikings preseason game on Aug. 27. The opening debuts during the first season’s Sunday Night Football game on Sept. 10 featuring the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants.
