Atlanta United forward Josef Martinez was voted the Alcatel Major League Soccer Player of the Week for his four-goal performance in Week 14.

The Player of the Week selection is Martinez’s second in 2018 after receiving the recognition in Week 3.

Martinez scored one goal in Atlanta United’s 1-1 draw with the New England Revolution on Wednesday and three goals in a 3-1 win over the Philadelphia Union on Saturday.

Martinez totals 12 goals this season and 31 total goals in his 34 MLS appearances. With his hat trick on Saturday in his 31st start, Martinez became the second-fastest player in MLS history to score 30 goal.

Atlanta United’s next match will be Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Kennesaw State’s Fifth Third Bank Stadium Stadium against Charleston Battery in the U.S. Open Cup.
