Joel Embiid named NBA Live 19 cover athlete

EA Sports named Philadelphia 76ers Joel Embiid the NBA Live 19 cover athlete on Monday.

Embiid shared the news on his personal Twitter account along with the NBA Live 19 “The One Edition” game cover.

Embiid averaged 22.9 point per game last season with the 76ers, posting a 22.95 player efficiency rating. Fans of the game reacted to the news on Twitter.

NBA Live 19 will be available Sept. 7.
