Georgia coach Kirby Smart is “hopeful” that left guard Solomon Kindley will play against LSU on Saturday

(3:30 p.m., CBS; News 95.5 and AM-750 WSB).

Kindley “has a mild MCL sprain,” Smart said.

“We think he’s going to be able practice today. We’re hopeful he gets to play, but I won’t really know until I see how he does today.”

Kindley left the Vanderbilt game late in the first quarter with the injury.

“He’s been able to run on the treadmill and do some exercise stuff, but it was not as significant as we thought in the beginning,” Smart said.
