Atlanta United’s Chris McCann had to leave Saturday’s game because of an undisclosed injury.

He is on loan with Coventry city in England’s League One.

The midfielder signed with the MLS expansion club earlier this year.

McCann left the 2-0 loss to Fleetwood in the 38th minute. There was no update on his injury posted on the team’s website or on the site of the local newspaper.

As for Atlanta United’s other loaned players:

Alex Tambakis was in goal for Charleston’s 2-1 loss to Rochester on Saturday. Jeffrey Otoo was an unused substitute.

Junior Burgos didn’t play in Tampa Bay’s 1-1 draw with Indy on Saturday.

Kenwyne Jones is with the Trindid and Tobago national team, which will play the U.S. on Tuesday in Jacksonville. A spot in the World Cup qualifying group will be on the line for the U.S. Trinidad and Tobago has already clinched a spot in the group.

Hector Villalba and Tijuana were off this weekend.
