Al Horford, wife welcome newborn daughter

Boston Celtics power forward and former Atlanta Hawk Al Horford and his wife, Amelia Vega, announced the birth of their daughter on social media Wednesday.

Horford shared a photo of his wife and daughter, captioning the photo, “Gracias a Dios por esta Bendición a nuestra familia. Mi esposa es mi héroe!” (Thank God for this Blessing to our family. My wife is my hero!)

His wife also shared the photo to her account.

Horford and Vega announced they were expecting their third child in January.
