*The Thrashers beat the Devils 4-2 on Oct. 16, their fourth game of the season. The Thrashers are coming off a 6-5 overtime win over the Stars on Thursday. The Devils hosted the Senators on Friday.

*The Thrashers are tied for first in the NHL, along with the Blackhawks, with six short-handed goals.

*The Thrashers have 105 goals this season. Their 3.18 goals-per-game average is third in the NHL.

*Tobias Enstrom has 18 points (three goals, 15 assists) in the past 20 games. He leads the Thrashers in assists and is tied for third in the NHL in assists by defensemen.

*The Devils have been juggling line combinations. Entering Friday’s game, Zach Parise, who had 45 goals last season, is goal-less in the past eight games. Travis Zajac has one in the past seven games.

*The Thrashers' official fan club will hold a charity auction of personalized player Build-A-Bears on Saturday. The auction will take place under the Omni scoreboard and end at the end of the second intermission. Each bear, or moose in Johan Hedberg’s case, are autographed and feature a recorded holiday greeting from the player.
