Lowndes defeated Colquitt County 52-31 last week, the fourth time the Vikings have won while allowing at least 30 points, tying a state record for the regular season. Other teams that have done that are 2015 Centennial, 2012 Adairsville, 2007 Commerce and 2001 Mount Zion of Carroll County. Counting playoffs, two teams have won five times while allowing 30 points. They are 2019 Dublin and 2009 Lassiter. Lowndes now holds the record for most victories all-time (16) when both teams score 30 points.
