Format: The 72-hole stroke play event is a dual competition. The tournament is the final regular-season event on the PGA Tour. It is also the final event in the FedEx Cup playoffs.
The Field: Top 30 players on the FedEx Cup points list. A win by any of the top five players on the points list (Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Nick Watney, Phil Mickelson and Brandt Snedeker) would also give him the FedEx Cup championship. But any of the players in the field are mathematically eligible to win the FedEx Cup. Defending Tour Championship and FedEx Cup champion Bill Haas did not qualify.
Purse: $8 million, with $1.44 million to the winner. FedEx Cup winner earns $10 million.

Cell phones: Phones must be kept on silent mode and can be used only in designated areas. No video is allowed at any time. No photography is allowed during tournament rounds.
Do not bring: Backpacks, large purses or bags larger than 6-by-6 inches; beepers; large folding lawn chairs; coolers; radios; signs or banners; firearms or knives. Cameras not allowed.
Parking: All parking is free at Turner Field. A free shuttle will take fans to the East Lake entrance. There are no authorized parking lots at East Lake.
