The Masters are a hot ticket. And sometimes, people will do anything to get into Augusta National Golf Club.
A Pennsylvania man was arrested - twice - for driving onto the grounds, the Augusta Chronicle reports.
Joseph John Murphy, 50, attempted to enter the grounds Saturday evening by speeding past a security gate. He was jailed for criminal trespass, a misdemeanor, and released Sunday after posting bond.
On Monday, the paper reports, Murphy returned to Augusta National and attempted to gain access to the course by claiming to be the father of reigning Masters champion Adam Scott.
The stunt almost worked, until an astute security officer recognized him from the previous incident and Murphy was hauled off to jail again on a second charge of criminal trespass. He remained in custody Tuesday.
