Georgia Tech graduate and Duluth resident Stewart Cink headlines the four inductees for the 2017 class in the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame. He will be joined by Joe Inman Jr. of Marietta, Jeff Knox of Augusta and the late Jim Stamps.
Cink is a six-time winner on the PGA Tour, most notably the 2009 British Open, and has played on five Ryder Cup teams.
Inman, the head golf coach at Georgia State, won four times on the PGA Tour and three times on the Champions Tour.
Knox is a two-time winner of the Georgia Mid-Amateur Championship and three-time runner-up at the Georgia Amateur. He also serves as a non-competing marker at the Masters.
Stamps was a PGA professional, most notably at Dalton Country Club. He won the Georgia Open twice, the Georgia PGA Championship twice and the PGA National Club Professional Championship in 1962.
The addition of these four will bring the membership to 111.
John Daly on deck: Now that John Daly has aged-up and joined the Champions Tour, you can expect to see him at the 2017 Mitsubishi Electric Classic. Daly won the 1994 BellSouth Classic at the TPC Sugarloaf, which now hosts the senior event.
“We’re very excited about having John Daly coming,” said Stan Hall, the tournament’s executive director. “Not only is John a great golfer, he is a great personality and a great showman on and off the course. We are very excited to see him tee it up next year at our event.”
'Golf Show' changes stations: "The Golf Show," a staple on weekend radio for years, has changed times and stations. The show is hosted by Brian Katrek, a national broadcaster, and Mike Paull, the executive director of the Georgia PGA. The show airs for an hour on 680 The Fan at 9 .am. Sundays.

Paolozzi last summer became only the second woman to win a PGA Section championship. Shirley won the 2014 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur championship and was second in 2013 and 2015.
