Of course, there will be tapas.
Sergio Garcia will follow the Spanish appetizers with a three-course meal as his selection for the Masters Champions dinner on Tuesday.
One of the duties of the newest tournament winner is to select the menu for the exclusive event for past Masters champions.
“It’s an amazing honor to sit next to all those champions … and listen to some of the stories,” Garcia said.
Garcia said Tuesday that the meal, three of his favorite dishes, will begin with a Caesar salad – with a twist. It will include ingredients from the 11 countries that have had a Masters winner.
The main course will be Arroz Caldoso de Bogavante, a lobster rice dish.
Desert will be his wife Angela’s recipe for Tres Leches Cake.
A selection of Spanish wines also will be served.
“I’ve very excited to host it and soak it all in,” Garcia said.
