Former Georgia Tech running back Jamious Griffin has committed to transfer to Oregon State.

Griffin, a former four-star prospect from Rome High who elected to transfer in February, made his announcement Monday after making an official visit to the school over the weekend.

Griffin actually went into the transfer portal twice since the end of the 2021 season, first deciding to withdraw and stay with the Yellow Jackets in December before deciding to leave for good in February.

Griffin joins a team that, like Tech, has lost its leading rusher from the 2021 season. Last season, the Beavers finished 7-6 and ranked third in the Pac-12 in rushing yards per game (212.3). Running back B.J. Baylor led the conference in rushing at 102.8 yards per game. Griffin has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
