The Georgia Tech volleyball team swept through Mississippi State, Indiana and Arkansas to win the Georgia Tech Classic this weekend at O’Keefe Gymnasium.

The 21st-ranked Yellow Jackets improved to 7-1 against what has been a rigorous nonconference schedule. Of Tech’s first eight matches, three have been against teams in the 2020 NCAA Tournament and five have been against power-conference opponents.

In defeating the Bulldogs Thursday, Hoosiers Friday and Sooners Sunday, Tech dropped only two games. The Jackets have won 26 of their past 28 matches at O’Keefe.

In defeating the Sooners on Sunday, outside hitter Julia Bergmann recorded a season-high 22 kills to go with 13 digs and three total blocks.

The Jackets face Arkansas Thursday in Raleigh, N.C., and will be home against Georgia Saturday in their final non-conference match of the regular season.
