A season of lose, win, lose, win, lose would indicate that it’s time for a Georgia Tech victory Saturday.

The Yellow Jackets felt the sting themselves in their loss to Pitt on Saturday, when they allowed 580 yards of offense and 52 points. Duke probably doesn’t have the firepower of the Panthers, though the Blue Devils did hang 52 on Kansas. Duke ranks 12th in the country in yards gained per game (497.2).

Probably a better opportunity for Tech is that it gets to face Duke’s defense. The Blue Devils allowed 31 against Charlotte, 33 against Kansas and 38 against North Carolina. Their defense ranks 101st in the nation in yards allowed per game (429).
