An all-Conference USA and third-team All-American selection by The Associated Press intends to join Georgia Tech for the 2025 season.

On3 reported Wednesday that Eric Rivers, a 5-foot-11, 195-pound senior formerly of Florida International, will transfer to Tech. Rivers had 62 catches for 1,162 yards this season and caught 12 touchdown passes. On Oct. 29, Rivers caught 11 passes for a program-record 295 yards in a win over New Mexico State.

Rivers also had 32 catches for 370 yards for Florida International during the 2023 season. He began his career at Memphis, where he played on special teams in 2021 and then missed the 2022 season because of injury.

Out of the McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Rivers was considered a three-star prospect by the 247Sports Composite in the class of 2021.

Rivers joins offensive lineman Andrew Rosinski (North Carolina), wide receiver Debron Gatling (South Carolina) and defensive back Daiquan White (Eastern Michigan) as players who intend to transfer to Tech for the ‘25 season.
