Georgia Tech announced updates to the visual representation of the Institute Friday,  including the introduction of “Tech gold” as the official school color, a new word mark and simplification of the “GT” logo.

» New Tech gear now available

“Tech gold” will be Georgia Tech’s official school color along with white, to reflect the color scheme of the Ramblin’ Wreck that drives onto Bobby Dodd Stadium to open football games. Navy blue will continue to be used as the official secondary color.

Georgia Tech’s new wordmark, which will appear in the end zones of Bobby Dodd Stadium and on Georgia Tech uniforms, will display the name of the school with several unique factors like the “T” in “Tech” which will resemble the “T” on the Atlanta campus’s Tech Tower.
