Just when Georgia Tech feels it has lulled a defense to sleep, it whips out the long pass play to surprise everyone.

That’s exactly what happened in the third quarter of the Yellow Jackets’ game against the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium. Quarterback TaQuon Marshall dropped back to pass and hit his big wide receiver Ricky Jeune down the sideline for a 48-yard gain.

That led to a 32-yd field goal from Brenton King to put the Yellow Jackets up 24-13 with 5:52 left in the third quarter.
