Kyle Gregory, who played football at Brookwood High, has died from COVID-19 at the age of 24, according to his former high school coach.

Brookwood coach Philip Jones posted Sunday night on Twitter: “Alright COVID, it’s personal now. You took one of my favorites, and at the age of 24. Absolutely heartbroken about former @Bronco­_ftball Kyle Gregory and sending prayers and love to his family and closest friends.”

Gregory, a 2015 graduate, was an offensive and defensive lineman at Brookwood.
