Former Brave Sean Rodriguez hits walk-off home run in first game with Pirates

With the game tied 4-4 in the bottom of the 12th inning on Sunday, outfielder Sean Rodriguez hit a walk-off home run in his first game back in a Pittsburgh Pirates uniform.

The former Atlanta Braves outfielder hit a fly ball to deep left after grounding out in the ninth. Rodriguez went 1-for-2 with one RBI on Sunday.

On Saturday, the Pirates traded minor league infielder Connor Joe to Atlanta in exchange for Rodriguez, who played two seasons with the Pirates from 2015-2016.

In 15 games with the Braves this season, Rodriguez had a .162 average with six hits, two home runs, eight walks and 19 strikeouts.
