Former Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster charged with felony domestic violence

Former Alabama linebacker and San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster was charged with three felonies including felony domestic violence.

According to the above news release, Foster is facing charges of domestic violence with an allegation that he inflicted great bodily injury, attempting to prevent a victim from reporting a crime, and possession of an assault weapon.

The charges stem from Foster’s February arrest after he allegedly attacked a 28-year-old woman at their home.

The 49ers released a statement on Thursday regarding the charges.

The news release states that Foster’s arraignment is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. PT.
