MATT RYAN, quarterback

On back-to-back poor showings

“I think you always expect something better after you play poorly, but we didn’t do that today. We didn’t play up to the way that we are capable.”

RODDY WHITE, wide receiver

On the offense

“We have to find a way to have our formations and get people in the right places to make plays.”

On how many plays was he the primary receiver

“I have to go back and watch the film.”

On if he’s talked to Kyle Shanahan

“Yes. Me and Kyle have had conversations over the last couple of week about my role in the offense. I’m just playing what I’ve been told to play. …just go out there and whatever plays we run, execute them.”

On Carolina being undefeated

“We just have to focus on us. Our offense, we have to get back to what we do.”

JULIO JONES, wide receiver

On the offense

Our mindset was that we weren’t going to turn the ball over. Today we didn’t turn the ball over. We have to continue to keep getting those small things fixed. Now, we have to play a little faster and hopefully we’ll get back to where we need to be.”

JONATHAN BABINEAUX, defensive tackle

On the bye week

“We just have to regroup and re-focus. We have a week off to look at the last nine games that we played thus far. There are still seven more games in the season. We just have to keep pressing and get this thing turned around.”

RYAN SCHRAEDER, offensive tackle

On the offense

“I know they gave us a lot of pressure and looks. I don’t know if that’s what screwed us up. It’s tough to tell. You have to give it to them. They figured us out and we just have come back, take a little break and get back after it.”

O’BRIEN SCHOLFIELD, linebacker

On the loss

“It’s a little disappointing that we didn’t come out with a win. But the focus is to take are of our bodies, get healthy and come back ready to take over and play better ball. In the second half of our season, we just have to understand what’s in front of us, take it one play at a time, one game at a time and do it together.”

JACOB TAMME, tight end

On the offense being stopped

“We didn’t move it as well today. There are a lot of things we could have done better offensively. They did a nice job on defense. They have a good defense. People look at records, that stuff doesn’t mean anything in this league. They have a very stout defense. They have had a very good defense for a long time. They played well today.”

On the back to back losses

“You hit tough stretches in every season in this league. There are very few times when you go through the course of a whole season and you don’t have a little bit of a tough stretch somewhere. The key is can we get a little bit of a good streak going here?”

DEVONTA FREEMAN, running back

On the run game

“Much credit goes out to that defense man. They have some great players over there. They have nice schemes, stop the run, and they just did their job. They did a hell of a job actually. It still comes down to us making plays, creating opportunities, taking advantage of the small opportunities.”
