On preparing for Detroit: "Obviously, Detroit played Monday night, so we got the opportunity to watch that film Tuesday and (Wednesday) and kind of go through some of what they did against New York. I thought they played well. Their defense is sound. The defensive is playing good, creating a lot of pass rush and turning the football over. I think they play with really good effort. To me, that's one of the things that jumps off the screen when you watch them play. The speed and the effort that they play with. They are playing good football right now."

On defensive backs Darius Slay and Glover Quin: "Veteran guys that are good players and have been good players for a while. I think both of those guys do a great job. They are athletic. Good ball skills. Slay has great ball skills. Glover Quin is a guy that's savvy. Just kind of has a good feel for where route concepts are going to get to, or that's at least what it looks like on film. He has done a good job for them."

On defensive end Ziggy Ansah: "Talented. Very talented. Plays with good effort. Good speed. Certainly, we'll have to identify where he's at and get our protections set up so that we are stout. But across the board, their defensive line does a good job, and he's certainly one their really talented pass rushers."
