Falcons left cornerback Desmond Trufant, who had a career-high four interceptions this season, suffered a broken forearm in the 40-20 win over the Panthers on Sunday. He will  miss the rest of the season.

Trufant suffered the injury with 2:12 left in the second quarter and he did not return. He is set to have surgery this week and will be placed on injured reserve.
