Falcons great Morten Andersen is set to receive his gold jacket from the Pro Football Hall of Fame today. The enshrinement ceremony is Saturday.
Here are five things to know about the Falcons on Friday:
1. Practice schedule. Today's practice is at 5:05 p.m. and is open to the public. Gates open at 4:05 p.m. The team is off on Saturday, but will host Military Day on Sunday when gates will open at 8:15 a.m. and practice is set to start at 9:45 a.m.
2. Injury report. Wide receivers Julio Jones, Andre Roberts and Taylor Gabriel all played during the scrimmage portion of practice on Thursday. Roberts missed practice on Wednesday with an undisclosed injury and Gabriel had been limited with a lower leg injury. Jones played five plays on Wednesday. Cornerback Akeem King didn't practice today.
3. Season-ticket holders to get tour the ne stadium. The Falcons and Atlanta United are planning an "open house" at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for season-ticket holders Aug. 19, one week before the new stadium hosts its first game. In messages from the teams this week, season-ticket holders were told they'll receive complimentary tickets to the open-house event.
4. Position change: The Falcons moved tight end D.J. Tialavea from tight end to tackle. He was wearing number 74.
5. Fuller waived. Falcons wide receiver Devin Fuller, who suffered a torn ACL on the second day of camp was waived/injured on Thursday.
