Falcons wide receiver Harry Douglas, who left the game with a foot injury in the second quarter, had tests done on his foot on Friday.

“They were all negative,” Falcons coach Mike Smith said. “We’ve got a couple of days to get some treatment and we’ll have an injury report on Wednesday.”

Douglas had two catches for 14 yards, including a 3-yard touchdown pass before leaving the game.

Douglas, a seven-year veteran, was injured in the second quarter on a downfield route. He had to be helped off the field and was immediately taken to the locker room. He initially appeared unable to put any weight on the foot.

Douglas’ touchdown reception capped a six-play, 70 yard opening drive that culminated with the score just 2:57 into the game.

The Falcons are also hopeful that wide receiver Roddy White, who didn’t play against Tampa Bay because of a hamstring injury, is ready when they face the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Sept. 28.

“We felt very close with (White) for the game,” Smith said. “We felt it was in the best interest of him not to play, but he made great strides and if (the Tampa game) would’ve been a seven-day window it would’ve been a different decision in terms of who was going to be active.”
