Perhaps bad news for the Falcons, the Saints are about to add Dez Bryant.

The All-Pro wide receiver agreed to a deal with New Orleans on Wednesday, according to multiple reports, after going unsigned this season. He could sign as soon as Thursday.

Bryant, 30, was released by the Cowboys in April. He had workouts with several times since, including one with the Saints on Tuesday. He was due $12.5 million before he was released.

The Saints (7-1) are on a seven-game win streak and lead the NFC South. They are second in the NFL in scoring this season but need help at wide receiver. Michael Thomas is the leading receiver with 70 catches. Ted Ginn Jr. was placed on injured reserve earlier this year.

Bryant had at least 1,200 yards receiving from 2012-14. He was named to the Pro Bowl team three times in 2012, 2014 and 2016.

To make the signing more interesting, the Saints play at the Cowboys on Nov. 29 in a prime-time game.

The Falcons (4-4) play at the Saints on Thanksgiving night.
