Ryan named NFC Offensive Player of the Week

Quarterback Matt Ryan was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 9.
In the Atlanta Falcons’ (6-3) 43-28 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5), Ryan threw for 344 yards and four touchdowns. He completed 25-of-34 passes and had a season-high passer rating of 144.7.
This marks the seventh time Ryan earned the honor, which is a team record. Earlier this season he was also named the NFC Player of the Month after totaling 970 passing yards and seven touchdowns in September.
