Falcons free safety Ricardo Allen returned to practice and went through most of the drills on Monday on the opening day of training camp.

Allen has recovered from an torn left Achilles. He was not expected to fully participate, but went through most drills. He didn’t take the field with the first-team defense in 11-on-11 drills.

Allen, who signed a three-year, $19.5 million contract extension over the 2018 offseason, was injured in overtime of the 43-37 loss to the Saints on Sept. 23.

Allen, on Sunday, would not say how close he was to 100 percent.

“I feel good,” Allen said. “I feel like I can beat a lot of people. I feel like I can compete and do some good things. That’s good enough for me right now.

“I don’t know if I’m 100 (percent healthy). I might be 1,000. You never know, I might be more than 100. I don’t know.”
