Revamped offensive line to get tested by Lions

Sept 21, 2017

The Detroit Lions will test the revamped right side of the Falcons’ offensive line Sunday.

Ty Sambrailo is slated to start for Ryan Schraeder at right tackle, and Wes Schweitzer will be making his third NFL start at right guard.

“Ty did a great job this last game of stepping up and playing really well,” center Alex Mack said.

Sambrailo can expect to see both of Detroit’s defensive ends, Anthony Zettel and occasionally Ezekiel “Ziggy” Ansah.

Schweitzer will battle with five-time Pro Bowler Haloti Ngata and former Alabama star A’Shawn Robinson.

The Lions have six sacks, with Ansah leading the way with three.
