Falcons claim QB Danny Etling
With an open roster spot, the Falcons claimed quarterback Danny Etling off waivers Wednesday.
Etling, 25, who played at Purdue and LSU, was waived by the Patriots.
The Falcons placed developmental quarterback Kurt Benkert on injured reserve after he suffered a toe injury in the Pro Football Hall of Fame exhibition game Aug. 1.
