Falcons wide receiver Devin Fuller suffered a torn ACL in his knee Friday and will be out for the season, Falcons coach Dan Quinn said Saturday.
“A bit of bad news. Devin Fuller was injured yesterday,” Quinn said. “Unfortunately, he’ll be out. He has a torn ACL. We are bummed for him. He had worked so hard to recover from last year’s injury.
“We are definitely bummed and sad for him.”
NFL Network reported early Saturday that he suffered a torn ACL and would be out for the season.
Fuller, who was drafted in the seventh round out of UCLA last year, was placed on injured reserve last year after suffering a shoulder injury in the exhibition season.
The Falcons signed wide receiver Bra’Lon Cherry and Reginald Davis III on Friday. Cherry, who’s 5-foot-11 and 188 pounds, played at N.C. State. Davis, who’s 6-foot and 185 pounds, played at Texas Tech.
Davis signed as an undrafted free agent May 1, and the Falcons waived him May 18.
